Memorial Donations Lt. Roger Morton

My friend was a fireman, serving his country proud and genuinely loved his job. He was brave, smart and handsome to say the least! Tragically, Roger lost his life on 22nd July and sadly mourned by his family and friends.

Roger was 36 years of age. A father to a beautiful little girl, a brother, a son, an uncle and a friend. He served 8 years with the Fire Dept. and 2 years in Chicago where he met his daughter’s mother.

His family are battling through his loss, keeping their spirits up by remembering Roger through the many lives he touched and stories he told. This world genuinely lost one of the best people to ever grace it.

His legacy will live on through his daughter who is currently struggling at the young age of 5 to come to terms with the fact that she will never see her daddy again. How do you explain to a 5 year old that they can’t go and visit daddy in heaven when they ask to? Just heartbreaking.

I would like to help the family grieve in peace and am therefore starting this page to raise money for Roger’s funeral costs to relive some of the financial burden from his family.

If you can donate, you don’t know how much we would appreciate it, if not please feel free to share this page and maybe gain donations through that. Thank you for helping me!
