Social fundraising website broke a new record when a fundraiser raised over $10,000 in under an hour.

Zade Hakki, 22, from Kennewick, Washington is being remembered by family, friends and coworkers after a fatal crash involving his motorcycle took place on Wednesday, May 23rd while on his way home from work. The news of Hakki’s death spread rapidly, and support for his family immediately started to pour in.


“To have Zade as a friend, is to feel like you have the greatest ally,” said James Dutton, Zade’s best friend and former roommate.

James Dutton, opened a fundraiser on behalf of Zade’s fiancé and family on, which recently won accolades for being voted the #1 most reliable fundraising website for personal causes and life events. The fundraiser was opened on Friday May 25th and managed to raised $10,000 in under an hour.
